Happy Father's Day

We took pappy out for dinner tonight to celebrate father's day for him.  The kids did pretty well at the restaurant and they brought our food rather quickly--so awesome! Sofia was fussing off and on because she fell on her knee and scraped it open before going into the restaurant.  But one thing she kept saying was that Uncle Micah was stinky and that she was scared of him...so what does Uncle Micah do? He farts as she is walking over to him...and of course now she definitely doesn't want to go near him! Even the older lady a few seats down looked horrified! Never a dull moment with our family.

That stinkin' binky

It is safe to say that Sofia is addicted to the binky. She was without one for about 5-6 months, however she's been stealing Roman's and disappearing. She doesn't sleep well at night or during nap time without one, so we gave in and let her have it again. She says it makes her happy and it tastes like pizza. I just pray that she will be over it by the time she turns 3..Fingers crossed!

Our 3 stooges

My husband has been trying to persuade me to start a blog on all the funny things our kids say and do, so I gave in and said I would. I promise you I am not the best writer, so bear with me...but what I can promise is entertainment, comedy and reality. So, here we go! :)

Introducing our brood:

Reece: Age 5 turning 6 on June 30th. Reece just finished kindergarten and had a blast! He was challenging for his teacher at times with not wanting to sit still or focus. But she did more for him than she will ever know! I appreciate her willingness to allow him to be creative. He is looking forward to first grade and is already missing his friends! Right now he is into Penguins of Madagascar and the movie Madagascar 3 which he saw this past weekend w/ his grandparents. He loves to draw, play outside, swim, spend time w/ his siblings and cousins. He is a huge help and keeps an eye out for his sister and little brother. He is such a blessing to us, at times difficult, but we wouldn't want him any other way.

Sofia: Age 2.5 turning 3 on October 16th. Sofia is one sassy little girl! She loves her brothers and can hold her own pretty well. She loves to wear dresses, necklaces, chap stick, dressy shoes and chocolate!! I feel like she is mature beyond her years and very smart! This girl doesn't miss a beat! She's been potty trained now for a few months and rarely has any accidents. I am so proud of the little girl she is, even though she is quite difficult at times. She loves to add an a onto most of her words like go-a, dress-a, hair-a, car-a, etc.

Roman: Just turned 1 on June 7th! So very hard to believe that this boy is already 1! He is sweet as pie and loves, loves, loves his siblings. He smiles at everything and loves to make a mess. He isn't quite walking--takes a few steps here and there but seems quite content on crawling and cruising. This boy can eat too! One of his first words was burp, thanks to Reece :). He jibber jabbers alot and sounds asian...and kind of looks asian too! We are so thankful for him!
